Patrick David Meehan, beloved son, brother. Grandson, nephew, uncle, father, fiancé and friend, 25, passed away at home on august 6, 2017.
               Patrick was born in whitefish on November 14, 1991, to David and Angie Meehan. He attended Whitefish High School and Flathead Valley Community College where he studied culinary arts. He worked closely with Dave Sheeran for several years and managed Second Street Pizza South in Kalispell. Patrick is survived by his mother Angie Meehan and father David Meehan; his sister Jenny Meehan (Douglas Sullenberger); half-brother Dustin Meehan (Jen, Logan and Liam); grandparents Raphael Salinas, Sharon Salinas, and Verna Parks; fiancé Rachel Leavitt and daughter Eloise Meehan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Salinas and Grandfather James Patrick Meehan.
               Those who knew Patrick can’t think of him without hearing his infectious laugh. He would do anything to see his friends smile. His energy and work ethic was second to none. He always made sure to do everything to the best of his ability and was a natural at anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed basketball, playing guitar, anything music related, cooking and being surrounded by loved ones. Perhaps his greatest joy was being a father. Patrick adored Eloise with all of his heart. He passed down his high energy, laughter and sense of adventure to her and his legacy will live on through her.
               Our Patrick was goofy, compassionate, brilliant and thoughtful. Our lives will never be the same, but we will always feel fortunate to have known and loved him and to know that he has found peace. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 12th at 10 AM at The United Methodist Church in Whitefish.  A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at the Moose Lodge on 10th Street in Whitefish from 12-4 PM following services.
