Alyssa Ann Gibson, age 54, passed away Thursday December 20th, 2018. She was born in Kankakee, Illinois to Katharine Voss and Michael Rehmer.
She graduated from Momence High School. Alyssa has a deep love for the outdoors and always felt drawn to Montana, where she relocated shortly after graduating high school. She was an avid fisher woman and loved to be out on the water with a line out. Alyssa had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh, something she passed down to her children whom she loved immensely. Along with her strong work ethic, she was incredibly generous and loved to help people in any way she could.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Michael and her dear older brother Patrick.
She is survived by her mother Kathy Voss and her husband Rich Voss, her sister Jenny, her sister Amy, her brother Sam, sister-in-law Julie and her son Mark and his family, and her four daughters; Dannah, Abby, Malia and Jessica and her family, several nieces and nephews and her dog Maws.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on January 19th, 2019 at 2 pm at Buffalo Hills Golf Course. She will be remembered for her penchant for making people laugh, her fun loving spirit, her skill to catch the biggest fish and as the wonderful mother, friend and family member she was.
