Amanda Adele Tustin, 89, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018. She was born August 10, 1929 in San Jose California to Stillman and Lorraine Pfeffer. She taught for a total of 27 years, and many children passed through her classrooms. Adele had a heart for kids and taught them not only at home and school, but also at the First Baptist churches in Columbia Falls and Whitefish. Adele is survived by one sister, Louise, and her sons, Wayne, Warren (and his wife Carol), Wyatt (and his wife Shannan), Willi (and his wife Jeannie) and Whitney (and his wife Colleen) as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gardening was always her passion and in her later years she loved knitting for others; blankets for children and potholders that she gave to those who took care of her during her 19 year bout with cancer. Services will be held at Hungry Horse Chapel on Saturday, December 1st at 2:00pmwith Pastor Brent Schmidt officiating. Interment services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.
