Tribute

David Michael Stein, loved father and friend, passed away Thursday, January 27th, 2022, at the age of 69. He was born in Columbus, OH, but migrated all over the U.S., living in Colorado, Maryland, Minnesota, California, Florida, Virginia, and Montana. His variety of locales reflects his variety of careers and interests. He began with art school, and moved on to earn his undergrad in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He then returned to graduate school at George Mason University for his MBA, followed with a CPA licensure. David preferred volunteer opportunities and participating in community organizations over paid commitments. He was always looking for new ways to lend a helping hand, and spent time with Rotary Club, Lions Club, and the Masons, as well as being a reserve officer with the Buffalo, MN, Police Department, a licensed EMT, and volunteering with the South Kalispell Fire Department. David had an intelligent and inquisitive mind, which led him to dabble excessively in several rotating hobbies. Some of these hobbies included ham radio operating, art, music, backpacking, languages, golf, meteorology, firearms, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and always keeping up with new gadgets and technology.
Survived by his daughters, Rebecca and Sara Stein and Brother Edward Stein (Jo Stein). There will be an informal graveside service at Conrad Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell, Montana, at 11am on Thursday, February 3rd.

"End? No, it doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one which we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all change to silver glass...And then you see it...White shores, and beyond, a far green country, under a swift sunrise."
