Janice Elaine Erdman

Janice Elaine Erdman, age 69, of Kalispell, MT passed away March 22, 2023. She was born July 9, 1953 in Kelso, WA to Marvin C Erdman and Anna Violet Erdman (Sproed).

Janice was born and grew up in Kelso Washington. After time and in her travels she found her new love for Montana where she moved to and lived for her remaining 37 years raising her two sons. Janice was a free spirited, caring, empathetic, loving, strong willed, intelligent, and adventurous women. A couple of things that she loved the most was her sons, traveling on the train, smell sight and sound of the ocean, and the mountains of Montana along with its rivers. Some of her hobbies included camping, fishing, hiking, hot springs, rock/gem picking, horseback riding, dancing, singing, sail boating, skiing, and huckleberry picking. In her free time, she also enjoyed writing, watching classic tv shows like Turner classics and oldies. Janice also at times went by a different name to those that knew her by the Indian name given to her as “White Raven”. She also had a fascination with ancient Egypt and the Egyptian philosophy and culture. Janice was a women’s rights advocate for educating mother’s in Flathead Valley. She was also an events planner at Grouse Mountain Lodge and helped at the Montana Veterans Home as a nurse.
She will be missed by so many and by the hearts of those she touched along her journey in this life. But the heavens gained another angel and know she’ll be looking down on us, guiding us, and will always be in our hearts. Let the wind carry and flow under your wings guiding you to the heavens above.

Janice is survived by sons: Jason and Tom Brenner; and other family members.
