Michael Anthony Dickerson, age 61, of Olney, MT passed away June 9, 2022. He was born January 23, 1961 in California.
Michael was a proud veteran and proud member of the Olney Volunteer Fire Department. He loved mountains and lakes and embraced the entire Montana lifestyle. But the most important thing to Michael was his love of family and friends. He was the first to offer help in any way he could. He had a genuine spirit and felt things deeply and always had time to lend an ear for those in need. He didn’t hide his love or affection for those he cared about.
Michael’s goal in life was not to achieve the highest level of wealth or recognition. It was to make everyone he touched feel better about themselves, and to make them laugh. It seems everyone has a Michael Dickerson story in Olney, and most will have you laughing out loud with his crazy antics.
Michael loved riding motorcycles, fishing, long drives through the mountains, cruising the lake in his canoe, and spending time with his friends and family at Stillwater.
Some of the jobs Michael had were servicing swimming pools, mobile home installation, and tending bar at Stillwater.
Michael is survived by his sister’s Debbie Moreno and Juanita Winters and his cat Rowdy. He is loved and missed by his nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces and long list of cousins, and friends.
The Family will have a Celebration of Life gathering at the Olney Fire Department on Saturday June 25 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to come and share your memories of Michael.
